Bratislava, 22 October 2026 – Slovak Antimony Corporation (SAC), the Slovak subsidiary of Military Metals Corp., is opening a new chapter in its antimony and gold exploration project in Trojár by appointing Juraj Haruštiak as director and launching a new information website https://antimon.eu. The company is thereby strengthening its local presence and has made dialogue with local residents and communities its top priority.

The new website will provide information about the project and its next steps, whilst also serving as a direct channel through which residents can ask questions and contact the local team. SAC anticipates these questions and regards its local presence and open communication as key elements in building trust.

These steps follow the extension of the Trojárová exploration area until 18 October 2030, as decided by the Slovak Ministry of the Environment on 15 October 2026, a decision which came into force on 16 October 2026. The Ministry had previously, by a decision of 2 October 2026, upheld SAC’s appeal and revoked its decision of 28 May 2026 to abolish the exploration area. Further exploration work will be carried out in accordance with the conditions of the decision and after obtaining the necessary additional consents.

“In its decision on the extension, the Ministry stated that SAC had fulfilled all the conditions of the Geological Act for the extension of the exploration area and had carried out geological work in accordance with the approved project. “We want to demonstrate that modern geological exploration can be carried out in such a way that local residents are partners, not adversaries.” – said Juraj Haruštiak, Director of Slovak Antimony Corporation.

The company has welcomed this outcome, as it removes the uncertainty that has surrounded the Trojárová exploration area since the decision to revoke it was issued in May 2026, and confirms the company’s right to continue exploration activities within the Trojárová project over the next four years, subject to the conditions set out in the decision.

Thomas Hüser, Executive Chairman of the Board, said: “This decision provides us with the continuity needed to move the Trojárová project forward with confidence and with a clear commitment to Slovakia.”

“We are grateful for the objective assessment of our application. Our ambition is to combine the development of a significant European source of antimony with strong local partnerships, scientific expertise and responsible environmental management. Trust must be built through open communication and concrete actions.”

The decision to extend the licence imposes a set of conditions on SAC, which form a binding part of the exploration work. The company will comply with them in full. This decision provides the company with a renewed basis for the further development of the Trojárová project, whose estimated mineral resources (’inferred’ category; this is the lowest category of certainty, not reserves) amount to 6.5 million tonnes of mineralised rock containing 1.02 per cent antimony and 1.06 g/t of gold, which corresponds to approximately 67,000 tonnes of contained antimony and 222,000 troy ounces of contained gold.

New exploratory boreholes may only commence once consents and opinions have been obtained from the nature conservation authority, as expressly required by the Ministry’s decision on the extension. SAC will apply for these consents in the coming weeks. Until they are obtained, SAC will not carry out any drilling work or related interventions on the site.

The results of the seven exploration drill holes from 2025, with a total depth of 1,383 metres are publicly available via the NI 43-101 technical report, which was prepared for the parent company, Military Metals Corp., by the renowned Canadian consultancy firm SLR Consulting (Canada) Ltd. and is published on the SEDAR+ system.

The Trojárová project is currently in the geological exploration phase, the aim of which is to gather data. A decision on potential mining would constitute a separate project with its own permitting process, including an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and public consultation.

“We want Trojárová to be a model of responsible geological exploration in Central Europe. This means listening to local residents, utilising the scientific potential of Slovak universities, and working from the outset to ensure that environmental considerations are not an afterthought, but an integral part of the project.” – Thomas Hüser, Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Military Metals Corp.

The company plans to develop cooperation with the Faculty of Mining, Ecology, Management and Geotechnologies at the Technical University of Košice. The collaboration will focus on mineral processing, water management and research into the responsible use of domestic sources of critical raw materials. SAC also aims to contribute to improving local wastewater management in cooperation with local authorities, public administration bodies and the academic community.

Antimony is included on the European Union’s list of critical raw materials in accordance with Annex II to Regulation (EU) 2024/1252 of the European Parliament and of the Council on critical raw materials (Critical Raw Materials Act). It is used in the defence industry, electronics, batteries and as a flame retardant. Europe currently imports the vast majority of its antimony from third countries.
