A meadow and forested hills

Understand the area first. Decide later.

Trojárová is an antimony and gold exploration and development project. It is not an operating mine.

Any future mining can only be considered once the feasibility of the project has been demonstrated and all relevant legislative, environmental and permitting requirements have been met.

Its further assessment is meant to provide data on geology, water and the natural environment, on the basis of which it will be possible to assess whether, and under what conditions, further development is possible.

First we need to understand the area, its water resources and its nature.

Only then can it be decided whether, and under what conditions, the project may continue.

What the geological data say

Geological data are only one part of the decision. Environmental conditions, technical options and economic feasibility are equally important.

How we approach the area

Water from the start

First we need to know the current state of the water, its quality and the direction of its flow. Only on this basis can measures be proposed and any changes be reliably evaluated.

Attention to historical burdens

We want to investigate whether future water management and remediation infrastructure could also help address the remains of historical mining.

Decisions based on data

Further development should not be decided by expectations alone. The decisive factors should be measurements, expert assessments and results that can be checked and independently verified.

How decisions on the next steps are made

Exploration is not a permit to mine. Neither the existence of a deposit nor favourable geological results mean that mining will begin.

    Understanding the area

Geological and environmental data are meant to clarify the characteristics of the deposit, the state of the water and the natural environment, and possible risks.

  2. Illustrative photo

    Assessing the options

Technical and economic studies are meant to examine the feasibility of the project and the suitability of the proposed solutions.

  3. Permitting any development

Any future mining would only be possible if all relevant legislative and environmental requirements are met and the necessary permits are obtained.
